Re: 13F MOS

Rangers, I apologize for my inappropriate post. My attitude did come off as irresponisible. I should be a better representative of my team and my regiment and more motivational to those who aspire to be a Ranger.

Re: Lower back pain?

A common issue with lower back pain after running is the type of running shoes you have. Everyone's feet are different and need a certain type of support. I'm not sure what kind you have, but the standard run of the mill shoes arnt for those who run constantly, they are made for those civilians who ...

Re: Introduction - Daniel

Rangers, thank you for congratulations, welcoming words, and reinforcing my motivation from the beginning. I kept this community in mind when times were tough.. I am staying here at 3rd battalion- the best battalion in Regiment. Hahaha! I'm sure those of you from 1st and 2nd would argue that over a ...

Re: RASP Before Airborne?

To answer your question more direct, if you don't pass RASP you lose airborne even if it's in your contract, because the 75th pays for airborne training if your going to RASP. if you go worldwide (voluntarily withdraw, medical drop, whatever..) you wait in hold to be assigned to a leg (non-airborne ...

Re: Introduction - Daniel

Rangers, thank you for the inspiring words of motivation. And Ranger Bravo57, learning the creed was our first task when we got here and I am confident of saying it with motivation and recognizing the meaning behind every word in my sleep. I had this conversation with my wife earlier on the phone, I...

Re: When to pack?

To answer my own questions.. Our cell phones will be policed up for the entire 8 weeks or training and I CAN keep the hair clippers. All of you Rangers are correct on not bringing anything extra. They will however hold your high dollar value items (ie. Laptops & DVD players) in a safe place unti...

Re: Introduction - Daniel

Thank you for the welcome words Ranger CharlieRanger1FFV. An update for myself.. I successfully completed the Basic Airborne Course, earning my wings. I was first out the C-130 door on our mass exit jumps and boy was it an adrenaline rush.. Almost too much to put into words! I wish I was in the sky ...

Re: Introduction - Daniel

Rangers, I appreciate the motivating words you share with me. Ground week is over & half way through tower week is up due to the four day work week (a holiday of some sort). Give up, surrender, quit, and I'm tired are words that do not exist in my vocabulary. There are only three ways I'm going ...

Re: When to pack?

Hello Rangers, This can probably be answered by a newly graduated Ranger.. In regards to RASP1 items allowed to have- do you keep your cell phone for after the duty day.. When ever that is or do they collect them up like in OSUT. My wife hasn't asked me yet, but I'd like to have the answer ahead of ...

Re: Introduction - Daniel

Rangers, Thank you for your responses. As an update for my status, I graduated OSUT, and now I am at Benning in Jump School. Half way through Ground week- C co. 1st/507th PIR planned graduation date of 25Feb2011. I don't have a clue when the next RASP class starts, but I've been meeting other joes h...
