Re: Reintroduction
Here is a welcome from a future soldier.
I know that the Rangers are going to ask you to post the results of a PT test, so I'll save them the legwork.
Best,
-Terrence

Re: Introduction- Matt
Rangers, I know that an enlisted soldier, especially a Ranger, has plenty of responsibilities but I want to become a leader. Every Ranger is picked because of his potential to be a leader. He is then trained to become a prominent leader, whether enlisted or officer. Thus, your "leadership"...

Re: Introduction - Terrence
Ranger goon175,
Yeah, I'm definitely going to be the most eager for one of those spots. I'm ramping up my PT and learning to stfu, to ensure that I can standout in every good way throughout my training.

Terrence, not "Terrance."
Attention to detail is key. (I'm not trying to be an ass, but it is better I try to tell you these basics before the Rangers. They're merciless.)

Re: Introduction - Terrence
Ranger GoldCoast,
Thanks. My recruiter is kind of a deadbeat, so I'm not counting on him to help with PT. I do have a program in place.

Yes, Ranger Steadfast. I meant, "Ranger Jurena, bonus or not, I sign. Not once was a bonus a priority."

Re: 35F + Option 40 = impossible, according to MEPS
Dude, I'm pissed because according to the books, you're a PT stud (collegiate track athlete), very intelligent (Top 10 School), have the want to serve our Country, yet all you do is keep backing up and trying to figure out a "smarter" way into the military. Sign up and do it. If you can b...

Re: 35F + Option 40 = impossible, according to MEPS
But, of course, proven Rangers will never believe in anyone until they see it.. You can add to that list; Proven firefighters, Police officers, pizza cooks, auto mechanics, janitors, teachers.. Get my point? I had a much longer response, but I already get the impression my words will be lost. Botto...

Re: 35F + Option 40 = impossible, according to MEPS
Rangers, I've made a decision, and I stick by it. 35F + opt. 4 or 40 or neither. I'm signing as soon as a slot is available. I do not intend to 'piss' on any Infantryman's grave. Sincerely, Ranger Elguapo, if I wanted to flaunt my so-called intelligence, tests scores or my alma mater, and if I thoug...

Re: Introduction - Terrence
Whatever it is, I'm hoping there are no bonus packages available, since you've babbled about that priority twice. While there is certainly nothing wrong with taking something the Army is offering a bit of situational awarness is at times needed. Use your degree to figure the rest out. Good luck. Bo...
