Re: Graduated!

Meeting my unit went...just as I expected. They smoked us up for a bit. Played a couple games and made us clean the cage for a while! Tab and scroll checks all day and plenty of good old "mess with the privates" fun! But at the end of the day (or should I say, NIGHT), we were given our bri...

Re: Graduated!

In processing is so much fun, too bad it has to end soon!! (Sarcasm) Can't wait to get to my unit and my team. Should be fun/interesting if half of what I hear about new privates is true! haha. Excited about upcoming events and starting this Ranger life! I'm understanding what everyone means about s...

Re: Airborne SITREP

Roger that Ranger ZoneIV. Day one wasn't too bad. We had 5 quitters before we even got into our rooms because they just time hacked us to death and smoked us repeatedly in heat index 105. But it ended soon enuogh (only about 3 hrs of smoke) and we were in processed and shook down and then on our mer...

Re: When to pack?

First week of Airborne down. Now onto tower week. Sad to say, the standards here arent what I had hoped they would be either, and I'm seriously beginning to understand what everyone means about "DO YOUR OWN PT". Fortunately we have a lot of resources in that particular department. Multiple...

Re: When to pack?

Roger that Rangers. Thank you for your responses. I have been getting my PT in whenever cadre will allow. And often when they're not around. And i do understand what you mean Ranger K.Ingraham about being a problem solver. I make continuous efforts to do just that every day. And RangerIV, I did requ...

Re: RIP Packing List

I am also in need of a RASP packing list. Granted, im sure that it is closely similar to the RIP list. But i'm sure there are a few changes, so anyone who can help out in this, I would greatly appreciate it, and I'm sure many can benefit from it. Thanks.

Re: When to pack?

I am currently in ABN hold for one more week, and could beneifit greatly from an updated packing list for RASP. If anyone reading this gets an opportunity, it would be an immense help. It sounds like I wont need half the crap that I have accumulated during abn hold and OSUT. Thanks.

Re: Airborne Sitrep

I'm currently at airborne hold now, and I have to agree, the PT SUCKS...there is none. we do what we can around here to get some in at night but the gym is off limits now and we cant run anyhwhere. Ive been here a week and next week I ship to airborne. It's been a hell of a journey so far. Throughou...

Re: Introduction-Brandon

Thank you for the pm ranger bill... heeded. As for my PT results, I haven't tested recently(last month or so), or even officially for my recruiter, but I came in at: 62 pushups 70 situps 13 pullups and a very disappointing 16:02 2 mile. LOTS of room for improvement, and believe me, I'm working on it...
