Welcome to the site. I wouldn't hold your breath on the 12B w/ an option 40. I am not positive but I don't think the 12B slots that Regiment has are for skill level 1 soldiers. but you have some great ambitions it sounds like... 1. Officers that come to regiment are 1LT(P) or Captains. Most are Capt...

Getting airborne will be great for you, go there with the mindset that your going to RASP right after, as they will ask for volunteers in airborne most likely.

Re: 35F + Option 40 = impossible, according to MEPS
I sincerely doubt that you will get 35F with an opt. 40. Regardless of how long you wait or how much hard ball you play. 35F by itself is a hard job to get, let alone getting high speed options along with it. Something for everyones S.A. on the option 40 deal: All the option 40's for FY 2011 have be...

Re: West Point... no Rangers?
because of all the kids that were duped into the split-op program to fill reserve missions, and then going active as soon as they grad. h.s., there is now a 2 year obligation to the reserves after you graduate AIT before you can even ask to go active. and once you have fulfilled that time, it is an ...

Re: The Lead the Way Fund's Annual Run Nov. 14
This is a great organization, we (1st batt. reps) came up a few years ago for the golf tourney they do every year. He really impresses me with the amount of effort and resources he puts towards our community and the families of Rangers who didn't make it back. I am going to make every effort to make...

I am a little confused on how you picked a job a full two weeks before you are going to MEPS. A recruiter can only reserve a job for seven days. I am not saying you are lying, but am looking out for you....so...how do you know that you have 11x opt. 40?
