Re: SecDef Gates Address at Duke Univ
And that is why Gates was so appreciated at Texas A&M. That was an excellent speech, one that most could never fully appreciate. Personally, I know I do not fully appreciate it....yet, but I know, sometime in the near future, my hope is that I will fully appreciate and understand it.

Hmm...I started quite the discussion Unfortunately, I'm now more indecisive in regards to buying them or not! :? Thanks Rangers for y'alls advice, it is your's that I value the most in regards to matters like these. I definitely enjoyed the humor in the thread. I think the only thing unanimously agr...

Re: Vibram Five Fingers
But in this regard, as I'm sure you've read, this gayfootglove is said to develop different muscle groups than what would normally be worked wearing "traditional" footwear and changes the way the foot initially makes contact with the ground. I strongly believe this would be counter produc...

Re: Vibram Five Fingers
Roger Ranger .. I think a cut-off Tapout shirt would better serve to up the badassness level as well. And I'll no longer be doing pushups and situps, I'll just start doing bicep curls to work the "guns." I'll also go get a mohawk. I'll be the coolest kid on the block. Maybe a tribal tattoo...

Re: Vibram Five Fingers
Rangers,
I knew I was opening myself up to some criticism, but oh well. Of course the best thing to prepare oneself for Road Marching is to Road March, but with no ruck or experience with it, was just looking for a feasible alternative.
And yes....they do look gay. That is simply undeniable.

Vibram Five Fingers
Rangers, http://www.mycolorfashion.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/01/Vibram-FiveFingers-KSO2.jpg Any opinions on these? I hear they're supposed to really strengthen the legs, most specifically the foot, ankle, and calf. I was thinking that if you wear these for a few runs a week along with normal ru...

Re: Army Ranger School - History Channel Documentary
Rangers,
The documentary is also on Youtube if I'm not incorrect. I've seen it and they've broken it into parts. If anyone is interested in watching it for free on the computer.

Re: Workout Routine
My initial thought is that running everyday may be a bit too much, especially starting out. Personally, unless I was forced to, I would not run more than three times a week. I think more than that, and you expose yourself to greater possiblity for running related injuries. Ranger Bill, I agree with...

Re: The real reason Nebraska left the Big 12
As previously mentioned I don't know much about foosball...does A&M have a foosball team? Yes but we're pretty much a disappointment every year to be honest. Doesn't help playing in the Big 12 South with Oklahoma and Texas. Supposedly our quarterback is a Heisman hopeful this year. We'll see ab...

Re: My Time With the Recruiter: A Comedy
I'm no Ranger, but pertaining to question (4) I believe I may be somewhat knowledgeable because I only enlisted a few weeks ago with an 11x opt 40 contract. I had the choice to select between a 4,5, or 6 year contract, and I chose 5. I'm not sure if your MOS of 68w changes anything but I figured I'd...
