AER handed my dau #3 a $2,900.00 scholarship this year too, almost gauranteed. Simple application, we forgot all about it and bam, it came in the mail, the check goes straight to the college to be used however (books/supplies/tuition).

Back in 03, they gave me the basic army tough-love under estimation bullshit. They ignored several medical evacuations, jump injuries, MRIs etc. I started with the initial 30%.
