Re: SITREP - Rob

Congrats Ranger Rob. 3 weeks after you arrived at your Assigned Ranger BN send me a PM to remind me to send you a packet brother. Roger. Hey Brother, Give me a call when you have a few minutes. I'd like to get some feed back on your process through RASP so I can fix my stuff on this end for the DEP...

Re: SITREP - Rob

Rangers, I'm afraid I have a bad SITREP. The night before our 8 mile out to Cole Range, I got hit with a mother of a stomach virus. I was up the entire night puking, I couldn't keep any water held down. I tried to make the ruck with my puking and everything, but I just couldn't. I'm trying to get ba...

Re: SITREP - Rob

Rangers,

I didn't make it into the RASP class that started this week. They had more people than open slots. I should be in the next one. It just means more time to prepare.

SITREP - Rob

Rangers,

We graduated Airborne today. Jumping is a pretty awesome thing. We stay at Airborne for now and then move to RASP hold on Tuesday morning. I'm pretty nervous, but it's also amazing to be taking a part in this.

Re: OSUT-sit rep/Rob

Rangers,

I graduated OSUT today and just got back home. It's been a great day. I'm going to be hitting the PT hard over the next 2 weeks. I'm heading back January 2nd for Airborne.

Re: OSUT-sit rep/Rob

Rangers, I'm on my 36 hour pass from OSUT with my father. Things have been going well, I qualified Expert and got that 300 on our final PT test. Still plenty of room for improvement. Graduation is December 16th, so there isn't much time left. I've met a lot of good guys and we all really help each o...

Shipping Out

Well, it's finally my turn. Ranger Ndog275 was nice enough to have a talk with me last night, which I am very appreciative of. Thank you to all the Rangers and veterans who contribute to this website, it is an amazing resource. I will post SITREP's when I can, and will strive to always do my best.

Re: Intro Chris

Welcome, we have the same shipdate. What's your PT looking like?

(Also, shouldn't there be that Airborne thing in between OSUT and RASP?)

Re: 12 Mile Ruck Weight

Hey Rob, if you want to train up - here's some advise when it comes to your PT training plan. Don't work out with any more than 50 lbs in your ruck. It just busts up your knees, shoulders, back and wears you down (in my opinion). Go heavier than 35 though! That doesn't get your shoulders used to th...
