Re: PolyTech/Norinco M14
Look on the Fulton armory Website they have some articles explaining the difference between the forged receivers and cast and why the forged is better, more robust, less prone to cracking, etc. They are not always to US spec, but nothing that a little polishing or honing would not fix. The remainder...

Re: PolyTech/Norinco M14
Some of the older Poly tech, Norinco came with Chinese Forged receivers, One of the most important pieces of the M14/ M1A system. You will pay close to 1000 for an LRB or Smith Enterprise new Forged Receivers, I have had several gunsmiths tell me that with a little fine tuning the Poly techs in part...

Re: Magpul Masada Rifle
I agree that the m4, m16, AR's have been tested and retested and when properly maintained will work and work well. I carry an HK 416 at work, and have broken the bolt face on it on the range. I have 3 POW AR guns (2-5.56 and 1-7.62) and 2 additional uppers for the 5.56. I will continue to see what i...

Re: Magpul Masada Rifle
I have heard the ergonomics are pretty good, and the quick change barrel, caliber are what I am drawn to. 5.56mm 6.5 possibilities, 6.8 spc, and rumors of 7.62x39 all in one package. Remington is designing an aluminum lower for it with the ability to change grips as well. Has anyone gotten their han...

Re: Magpul Masada Rifle
Visited the folks around Benning and Shooters of Columbus has the regular version of the ACR on the shelf. It has a good feel to it, but the salesman tried to tell me it would in its current configuration would shoot the 5.56, 6.8 and 7.62 x39, not sure about that 7.62x39 part...The safety selector ...
