If you don't mind, how much does a setup like that usually cost?
I've never bought or owned weapons.

Re: After 100 Years, Are The Boy Scouts Still Relevant?
I distinctly remember these two guys (that had been boy scounts) at my basic training that were rambling about how the drill sergeants didn't respect them and that it violated all the boy scout values. I mean I suppose they were right, but I told them to shut the fuck up. On the other hand I think t...

Ranger Intel Community
Just wondering if there were any members of the Rangers that are in an MI MOS (specifically 35F, but information from everybody would be appreciated) on the board, and could possibly give me a little feedback on the Ranger Regiment from their perspective. I am mostly wondering about deployment. Here...

If you are able to get an army EOD contract, you can waive the first 10 weeks of EOD school and possibly more (if you are still confident in your knowledge of ordnance).

These are awesome.Bravo57 wrote:CLEP tests.
I think the Army should deploy people atleast once before they start sending them to thousands of dollars worth of schools.
Have to make sure the soldiers are worth anything first!

The board
Who here has some horrible Promotion/SOM Board stories that I can enjoy?
I'm headed to my first board next week, I feel prepared, but I'm sure I will be able to contribute to this topic later.
I've heard my unit is pretty merciless, so I was just wondering what the Ranger board's are like.

Re: Treadmills
You had lit tracks in Iraq? I do live in a more secluded area of the base, but I didn't know they had tracks and stuff here. They are probably having keggers that I know nothing about as well. In other words "Fuck you Ranger FT...but my pink ones aren't working"....  lol I am pr...

Re: Treadmills
Thanks Ranger,
but the whole reason I do PT is to show off my legs,
so that would defeat my purpose in the first place.

Treadmills
Well it seems to always be dark when I want to go for a run (Post regulations...), so I have been restricted to the treadmills here on COB Speicher. For me, it seems shin splints are inevitable while running on a treadmill. Does anybody here have any remedies for this? I don't have a history of shin...

Re: Interview
I usually consider it common courtesy not to ask if somebody has killed somebody before.
I mean service members will shoot the breeze all day, but when I was a civilian, it wasn't my right to know.
