His SFAS class consisted of proven soldiers from different units. no 18X soldiers. Many things wre ran through pretty quick since it was material they were pretty acc...

`Hi, Everything said above about the bad luck involved in setting graduation plans in advance is connected with RIP. Most OSUT dates are right on and do not change much. Osut and RIP are 2 different animals. Usually if you can walk and run without falling down OSUT gr aduation is immenent. OSUT is s...

Hi, I am surprised that someone on here has not warned you of the jinx for RIP soldiers of anticipating the graduation before even class has begun. So many times setting graduation plans well in advance has required cancellation of such plans. RIP is not easy and completion is not a given. It is har...

I also know how the wrong words at the wrong time can lead into something not intended so I thought just to be on the safe side I w...

Hi, I remeber my sons mid-cycle (family day) it was great but not for all. There was soldiers in formation that had not tested very well on PT. They did not get leave. Family members could spend a short time with them at the barracks but then had to leave. Soldiers were warned that leaves would be p...

Hi, Odds are against youmaking it anyway. There were 3 Ranger Tabs and 2 Special Forces Tabs in my sons class and 1 out of the 5 made it to Bn. Doesn't matter what you have on your sleeve, if you keep your mouth shut, give everythign 110% and stay out of trouble there is a slight possibility you MIG...

Hi, Kaltherz, why do you post here? Why are you not posting on the SF board? You can read and learn on this board but as far as any Ranger info to add, you have none. just curious. But I don't think you have earned the rite to comment on very much at all in the Army especially on what goes on in SF....
