Shipping out

Rangers, I would like to thank you all for the wealth of information and guidance provided on this site. I would not be leaving tonight to basic with an Option 40 had it not been for the help you Rangers provided. I will keep you updated with my progress as time and circumstance permits. Once again,...

SFC Hit_it The MEPS doctor seems to have completely ignored the second opinion that I submitted. The note did make its way into my medical file but the Doc determined that I was permanently disqualified regardless. I received a medical waiver for my non-existent eczema based off of the first opinion...

Re-Introduction

Over two years after my introduction , I finally achieved DEP status. My request for the 11X Option 40 was denied due to the fact that I have a medical waiver (for a condition that I do not have). After 6 hours of debate, phone calls, and being put in a room with 2 recruiters trying to convince me t...

Thank you SFC Hit_it for your help. The second doctor has written his letter and my recruiter has faxed it up to MEPS. I am currently waiting to hear back. I should have kept everyone on this site up to date once the incident occurred. Certainly, I would not be in the situation I am in now. I will p...

MEPS incident

Rangers, I went to MEPS on February the 22nd to take the physical and to negotiate my contract. I scored an 88 on the ASVAB and all ones on my PUHLES. In the very last interview with the doctors, my interviewer began to question me about a small rash visible on my arm that had gone unnoticed or igno...

Ranger Spartan, I too would be interested in finding someone that claims to have graduated Ranger school during the 2003-2006 timeframe. I understand that you, Ranger Spartan, are not here to satisfy my demands. Thank you.

Sergeant JarHedSolja, thank you for your reply. The way I understood it, I would not need 50-60 credit hours per year. Based off the number of credits I currently have, I would need only about 60 more over the four years to reach the 90 credit minimum required to apply for OCS ( http://www.armyocs.c...

Continued college or earlier enlistment?

First off, I would like to thank the Rangers of ArmyRanger.com for your service and for the extremely valuable information I have obtained here over the last two years.

I was hesitant to post, but after speaking with various recruiters and after countless hours of hitting “Searchâ€
