A guy in my son's class got assigned to 2nd Batt, 30 min from his home. He was so happy. Then someone got wind of it and very quickly he was re-assigned.

I received a wonderful note in the mail today from a local veteran. He told he was also a Ranger (must have been Vietnam era or earlier? ) and signed his note "G. Co, 75th ABR." Does anyone know what that unit refers to?
