Re: Battle at Takur Ghar: Roberts Ridge/OPN Anaconda

Great post. This is reason # 73,698 why Rangers Lead The Way. They stormed the mountain as quickly as they could in knee deep snow shooting and throwing grenades.

Re: Afghanistan Airfield Raid 2001-2002

It wasn't an "Airfield Raid". There were some things that happened, but Steve Norris' account did not happen, Period! Sunny don't send me a PM about this.

How could this guy complete 3 tours in Iraq and 2 tours in Afghanistan in 5 years of service when we didn't...

They wouldn't get to sit down and eat three meals a day, 1 hour for each meal, so I'm guessing they would quit.

Re: College while in Ranger Batt.

Maybe things have changed in recent years but I can't imagine taking college courses while in Batt. If you make it to Batt, focus on your job and learning everything you can about it, then start taking a college class or two online.

Re: Would you do it all over again?

I'd do it all over again and then some. Biggest regret I have is not re-enlisting. I've been out for nearly 8 years now and the Scroll is still a way of life and will be till the day I die.

What's 4 weeks? That will go by in the blink of an eye. Like Nomad told you, DON'T LIE ON ANYTHING. You're the one that will pay for it if you do, not your recruiter.

I served in Cco 3/75 2000-2003 and loved ALMOST every bit of it. I serve as a Police Officer now and love it too.
