My question is regarding the sequence from selecting 68W with option 40 to actually becoming a Ranger medic. One would go to basic, then ait.....here is where I'm confused. Aft...

Re: Sprained wrist and sinus problem
In your own words, you just hit several reasons why you need to see a physician and not just seek some advice. Everyone on the this board who is qualified to conduct medicine would want to do a complete exam of the wrist and your sinuses before making any kind of recommendations. The simple fact tha...

Re: 68w option 40
You can become a Ranger Medic without a Ranger Contract. In fact, the vast majority of Ranger Medics were NOT on option 40 contracts. Get an option 4 (Airborne Contract) and still get to the Regiment with no problems. With an airborne contract, you can either submit application at AIT or you can vol...

Re: 68w option 40
bmahler- You are safe in enlisting with a 68W on an Airborne contract. You do not need a Ranger contract. If you are on an Airborne contract, you can either submit a Ranger volunteer packet at AIT which is easily worked because you are already locked in for airborne school. You can also volunteer on...
