Re: Most Ridiculous Lawsuit of 2011 Announced!
The sad thing is that reading that list isn't even funny anymore. It's embarrassing and pathetic to think people like that are registered voters.

Re: Brownell's military, LEO discount
That discount is pretty sick - saved a ton of money when I was rebuilding my AR a couple of months ago. Unfortunately it doesn't extend to the majority of the Sinclair Intl stuff as I do a ton of reloading and would love to save some cash in that area.

Re: 11B skill identifiers
We should hijack this thread and make it - "how many derogatory nicknames are there for the Bullwinkle Badge!" It pains me every time I have to talk this school up as a major accomplishment to our young Soldiers at Campbell. What an absolute waste of time. My old PSG and WSL could teach a...

Re: Claymore!!!
Heads up...I remember reading somewhere else that that was illegal in Colorado (and possible other states) because it resembles and explosive device. I shit you not.

Re: NCO Tutor?
It isn't gay... I learned 90% of what I know about interaction with my PSG and SLs from a retired 1SG. It's been easy to utilize the knowledge he bestowed on me and spend time refining my relationship rather than trying to figure out how to have one in the first place. The only friction I've seen wi...

Re: bone chip under heel?
Gahhh I get your point. I just hate this shit. It's like every time I start to feel more and more improvement in my PT, I get checked by something. I hate resting because I'm one of those guys who really has to work at running. I can ruck and lift shit no problem, but running has been the bane of my...

Re: bone chip under heel?
Thanks guys. I'm going to give it a little rest and switch over to the exercise bike and see how things work out. This new PA is fresh out of school, but he seems like a good guy. The last one was horrible and told one of my corporals there was nothing wrong with his ankle after he rolled it, only t...

Re: bone chip under heel?
Yep. X Rays came back normal, but it's still popping back and forth and more irritation now. The PA put me on 800mg motrins/ibuprofin for 2 weeks and told me to come talk to him after that. I've been on it for a week now and it's only gotten worse, so we'll see.

Re: bone chip under heel?
Right...I was thinking overuse, but the part that got my attention was that this isn't a cracking or popping joint, this is something hard on the underside of my heel bone that is popping independently of my heel. Almost feels as if I have some kind of pebble or something under my heel that I'm flip...

bone chip under heel?
About a month ago I started noticing some pretty localized pain on the bottom center of my right heel. After putting more miles on during the summer months both rucking and running, I've noticed that the heel pain has increased. It's not excruciating by any means, but it is definitely enough to noti...

One of my best friends, a 1LT that competed this past year and placed 20th, just had his hmmwv hit by an RPG a couple of weeks ago. Fortunately he suffered only superficial burns.

Re: Master your metabolism by Jillian of NBC's Biggest Loser
All I wrote about in letters for 62 days was ice cream. Go figure... limiting your calorie intake as well as replacing the calories you do consume with healthy food and a regular exercise regimen leads to weight loss. And here I had been spending hundreds a month on "diet, magic, wonder pills.&...

I'll have to check that out tomorrow Sir. Not sure if it would be in my company or down at the museum or Air Assault School.
