Ultra-realistic Modern Warfare 3 already in development
Rangers, Thought you'd all get a kick out of this one: http://www.babelgum.com/4007716/ultrarealistic-modern-warfare-video-game-features-engine-repair-awaiting-orders.html You spend most of the game awaiting orders or performing PMCS. "Coming in a Wii version, where you get to carry around a 19...

Re: Shipping and my college degree
If you don't have much luck with the registrar, try going through the VA representative at your school. The VA rep at my school is an absolute saint and works miracles for vets and cadets all the time.

Re: Introduction
Chuck, As it appears you are still in school, I would recommend that you join ROTC as a non-contracted cadet regardless of what your plan to enlist currently is. I know you want to enlist at this point, but at least take advantage of what ROTC has to offer training wise. You're already in college an...

Re: Army Cadet Accessions - I'm about to get hammered
Rabbit,
I have the sheets showing percentiles from '06, '07, and '08.
So basically I'm highly educated on just how bad I got screwed.

Re: Army Cadet Accessions - I'm about to get hammered
Ranger Silverback, If you'd like help with anything OML related, I would be more than happy to help you where I can. I studied my ass off on the OML so that I would know exactly what I needed to do to get my branch AND I've been screwed over by it, so I've experienced quite a few different sides of ...

Re: Army Cadet Accessions - I'm about to get hammered
Ranger RangerTom, Branch detailing from MI to IN is definitely one of my better options right now. Right now I'm trying to figure out whether or not branch detailing requires an ADSO (my PMS couldn't give me a solid answer so he is going to send that question up to higher). And yes, definitely a &qu...

Re: Army Cadet Accessions - I'm about to get hammered
dabeetrus, Yes, the accessions process is pretty jacked up to say the least. Had I known that this was how the Army was going to roll on this one, I would've been a communications major for a semester and walked away with a 4.0 for accessions purposes. I really feel for the biology/pre-med/engineer ...

Army Cadet Accessions - I'm about to get hammered
Greetings Rangers, I've had a pretty major curve ball come out of nowhere courtesy of Cadet Command and I'm looking for any advice you all may have to offer. I'm a 4th year Army ROTC cadet, about to go through the accessions process and receive my branch. I started ROTC as an undergrad, graduated wi...

But an old timer told me if you lubed the cases like full length resizing of rifle cases you could reload them..... but I'm not doing it!!!
The vast majority of Wolf ammo is berdan primed; which can't be reloaded.

Re: Looking for FLRC/team building exercise suggestions
Seriously though, just split them into small teams of 4 or 5 and then develop a cross country obstacle course. Throw in a rope bridge or two and that should take a few hours. The obstacles need to be things like outbuildings and tall fences that they need to work as a team to negotiate. Maybe pushi...

King of the pit in a huge mud pit! I don't know about team building but it'll definitely be good for your morale! :)
I will throw out the idea of a bear pit and see if it sticks. That would be awesome.

Re: Looking for FLRC/team building exercise suggestions
Do you have access to any of the following: sandbags, 5gal water cans, 8ft steel poles, ammo cans, mortar ammo boxes, willys jeep trailers, willys jeep tires w/ rims, numerous 10 ft sections of 120 military rope. Ranger ., Sandbags - Yes. Don't have any right now, but they're cheap. 5 gal. water ca...

Looking for FLRC/team building exercise suggestions
Greetings Rangers, I know this isn't directly related to PT, but this forum seems to be the closest match to this subject. I was passed on an e-mail by Cadre from the cheer and dance team coaches at my university to ask if we could run some sort of team building training between the cheerleaders and...

Re: What type of leader are you?
General George Patton. First question was tricky. I see being amongst your troops as one of the most important traits of a good leader, but if I'm new to the unit and about to lead a major assault, I'd want to personally over see the planning to make sure it isn't going to FUBAR'd. The troops can ha...

Bethebaud,
I'm going to do everything in my power to try to get myself an Airborne slot. If not Airborne, then AA, MW, or anything they'll give me.
How about you?
