Excellent post. Those of you leaving with out Opt. 4 or 40 need to heed his advice.
Never quit!
PS Word on the street is that the minimum GT score is now 110. I haven't seen a policy letter, or heard it straight from cadre, but just keep it in mind.

Re: RASP Class 1 graduates 1/3 of those who started.
Didn't we have some folks on here that were suppose to be part of this class? I wonder how they fared.
Yes, I seem to recall one or two posted pre-RASP. If you're reading this and made it, let us know.
As to the attrition rate, if we were to factor in all the 'option 40s' who never even managed ...

Re: Intro
Thank you everyone for the warm welcomes. Sorry for the brief SITREP before. Becoming a Ranger has been the best career move I have ever made. Infact for me it's more than a career. Which I'm sure you can all agree. And, I know I'm new, but I would like to beable to help future soliders/Rangers who ...

Ranger JLTW!!!,
I WAS going to walk out of MEPS with out a contract unless it had OPT. 40 in it. Even if I had to retake the ASVAB. The story I was given was that if I walk away now, my chances of A. getting a lower score, would be the score that counted, B. there was a chance that I would not get a ...

Ranger JLTW!!!,
I was advised to NOT sign with Opt 4, by my Army Liason, as this would more or less assign me to a unit. I was told that by only having basic and AIT in my contract, it would make it easier for me to volunteer for RIP. And if I am volunteering for RIP, than I will have a spot in ...
