I got an option 40 from the NY National Guard back in '84. Guess in the last 30 + years things have changed... I was 11B, went to OCS, got commission and then resigned commission to get the opt 40. had to push hard though. For some reason the Guard didn't want to give up a cherry O. Best decision I ...
