Airborne Graduation

Rangers, I graduated Airborne this last week. We had a late graduation due to bad weather, I ended with some minor injuries but nothing thats going to effect my performance at RIP. I'm at RIP hold now and I've never been so motivated for anything in my entire life, I can't wait to get to RIP and ear...

Re: Airborne graduation question

Thank you for your help Rangers. I told my parents not to bother staying the weekend just to be on the safe side, for the most part they just wanted to be here to pin my wings on anyways.

Airborne graduation question

Rangers, My family couldn't make it to my OSUT graduation so they would like to try to come for my Airborne graduation. They were wondering if I would have the weekend off before RIP, it doesn't much matter to me but they need to know for flight scheduling purposes. After reading some recent threads...

Graduated OSUT

Rangers,

I graduated yesterday at the Infantry Museum and went straight to Airborne from there to check in. Overall OSUT was a good experience, but I'm ready to move on. I ended up with 87pu's, 85su's and a 12:30 on my final APFT, I also got promoted to PFC.

Thanks for all your guidance.

Re: shin splints

I am only a DEP so my advice is worth next to nothing. But I would advise you to take it easy for a while. I had the same issue, I was so excited about my run times improving that I didn't bother to "waste" time to let my injuries heal. I now have stress fractures in shin because of it and...

Re: Daily workout post

Ranger Nomad, I am requesting permission to join in on the daily workouts. I was recently diagnosed with a stress fracture in my right shin area and will more then likely be pushing my ship date of 081231 out as far as a month. Now that cannot run I was looking into a Crossfit type workout that woul...
