well as I have been told here since like me you are a combat vet, we are NOT required to prefix with Ranger, although I will gladly reply if certain Rangers feel it necessary for me to do so. (Ranger Rgrking)

Any Batt SL or TL or RIP cadre, I was wondering if it would be better to show up to Batt with my tab already, also from the cadre side of the house, would I be overlooked in RIP because Im not brand new material?

Actually im in a Stryker brigade. We have tankers. We leave them in the CP for a reason. Just curious how this guy turned out?

This is a relief to me, im currently in a Stryker unit so my training for the past 2.5 years has been nothing but raids because thats what we do. I was having a tough time wrapping my head around what sort of prep i would be able to pull off for woodsy recon patrols and what not while deployed ...

I'm in the same boat. One of my SL's told me to get my Tab first though. I don't know what to do.

I am looking to re enlist. I obviously want to be a Ranger. I want to be in the regiment. My 2SL is ex batt and says to get my tab before RIP. Easier said than done IMHO. I was looking for a little weigh in as to what to do.
