First off I give you credit for trying to be a Ranger. I went from the Navy to the Army after 14 years off & at age 38. I didn't try out for Rangers but I went Airborne Infantry & it was a 21 year blast!

I too did the commercial photography bit for a while between Navy & Army but had more fun ...

If they won't give it to you walk out. Wait until you can get that contract. Don't believe him if he says that you can volunteer while in Infantry OSUT. Maybe ...
