My son also went into the Army with only an 11X contract like Wazzle's son. He was given the oppourtunity to volunteer for Airborne School & RIP while in Infantry School. He is now a SGT in 3rd Batt.

I was in submarines in the early 60s for 3 years, U.S.S. Chopper(SS342).Then got a chance to go to USN Underwater Swimmers School & finished my 6 diving. Good life in the old diesel boats!

I've got wings & bubble (both while in the Navy) but not MFF wings. I'm jealous. Shit, back in the day there was no MFF. We were just starting to fast rope then. Our entry into the water was usually by helocasting, an adventure unto itself.
