All this GI Bill stuff takes forever to put into motion. When Ch 1607 came around, it took them 7 months to update me from 1606 to 1607. In January, they authorized the Reserve Component to be able to do the "buy-up" for $600.00, just like active duty can do, but I called all the way up to...

I haven't read anything about what this is going to do to Ch 1606 or Ch 1607 of the GI Bill. Only mention of active duty....

I attend college in Ohio. I have a few contacts here and there in the ROTC programs at Ohio State and the University of Cincinnati. Feel free to PM me if you want any info.

Last time I heard, you had to be off probation for one year before you will be able to enlist.

Use Ranger Silverbacks sticky post called 'APFT Improvement.' That program worked very well for me. I went from around 50 pushups to 90, 50 situps to 75 and my 2 mile time was ~14:00. It can get tedious but it works.
