I love the story, but how do you get orders to Regt. without going through RIP? My dumb ass was under the impression that those orders don't go through "Regular Army Channels", but actually, and only, ORIGINATE at Regiment? :shock: ? I served in B co 1/75th from 86-89. In 2nd Plt with SFC Rickter (sp?) and then under Purple Hayes. RS 2-88. After ETS went to NG, 142nd LRSD from 90 till it was deactivated. Went to OIF 2 with 2/108th NYARNG for pretty much all of 2004. Possible deployment to OEF in 2008 (its already ...
