Re: Ranger Writings & Stories
Great story. It brought back a few memories. The first night we spent in the jungle we all sealed ourselves inside our ponchos like a cocoon to keep all the nasties out. Anyway, in the middle of the night I wake up flailing around and screaming because I dreamed a vampire bat had landed on me. Twas ...

I wish I could remember the name of the plt/SGt that was on the bird I was on, becqause of him several more Rangers were not injured or killed! during the rope he could tell something was not...

Hey all, I am now the proud father of a 7lb 6.7oz baby girl named Mercy Elaine Stewart. Her mother is happy and relieved she is here and can't wait to get out of the hospital. Everything went smooth overall. She was in labor for about 27 hours. She was active and alert straight out of the womb. http...

Re: Targets
From time to time I run across the odd oxygen bottle at work. They make great targets and you always know if you hit it (at least the first time) . The last one I shot flew about 60ft. in the air and landed about 25 yards behind me.

Re: Yetti Net
In JOTC I used mine as a hammock when we were in non-tacticool patrol bases. Kept me from "drowning" one night when we set up in a depression. It rained hard and turned the depression into a lake. There was about a foot of standing water on the ground and I was nice and dry in my make shif...
