I may be wrong and others can tell you much mroe than me but if you want to be a cop get a MOS as investigation and no MP.. MP you would be more of a guard and traffic cop and other you would be more of a detective.

My but still was meant to mean that my feet where tougher than the average civilian. I know its nothing compared to those long marches and what all you Rangers go through. I am sorry for not making myself clearer and didn not mean any disrespect.

If I go to the MEPS and nothing open I want but scored high enough for what I want, can I hve my recruiter call the MEPS once a week or so until a MOS I want comes open?

Everyone gets these when marching it seems. People talk about marching to make your feet tough but how many people can walk barefoot for 3 miles on a rocky dirt road. Granted not carrying 70lb ruck is a huge difference but still. My feet are pretty tough but can still use more toughening. Rick

I did a search and now know what it is but still have one question. After boot camp you do your MOS training like infantry or what ever, then you go to airbourne and finally up to RIP.. If you fail RIP does that mean you go back to your infantry MOS as a normal soldier? or do they give you a job at ...
