Thanks! I plan on doing everything within my power to get into RIP. I knew and read many times that I needed it in my contract but I was unable to. However, I feel that I am still a good candidate to get picked up and if the opportunity comes to volunteer I will be the first to raise up. Whatever it ...

Once in, I have been told repeatedly that I will be able to volunteer for the Airborne and RIP opportunities. Getting an opportunity at ...

Well another damn wrench in the plans. According to my recruiter, I am still listed a 3 on the part for my arm. I am not sure what is going on as the Dr. said everything was fine. My recruiter said that his letter will be with the packet when it is sent for the waiver.

Thanks SFC Hit It ....I am waiting to see if the Dr. at the MEPS station accepts the ortho consult review and then will go in to figure out the details of my contract. I guess I can now assume that I should be able to get Airborne and Ranger in my contract. Well thanks for the help and I will let ...

Is that standard or is there anything I can do to change it? Also, would it be different if I went in as an Officer? My initial goal was to enlist because they would pay back my school loans however, I do have a college degree from a military school and could go in as an Officer if that would change ...
