Readout of Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III’s Phone Call With the Kingdom of the Netherlands Minister of Defence Kajsa Ollongren

Pentagon Press Secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder provided the following readout:

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III spoke today with his counterpart from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Minister of Defence Kajsa Ollongren, regarding support to Ukraine. Secretary Austin thanked Minister Ollongren for the Netherlands’ security assistance for Ukraine. He also noted Dutch leadership in coordinating and leveraging the capabilities of other Allies to provide important assistance to Ukraine. Minister Ollongren also thanked Secretary Austin for the cooperation of the United States in support of Ukraine and Allied security.
