SITREP Javier (Airborne School and RASP)

Post by Baraka481 »

Good evening rangers and everyone else reading. Today I arrived to Fort Benning from AIT after 23 weeks. My motivation is through the roof, I cant believe that I am here in the process of making my dream a reality. I visited the ranger monument today and felt a feeling of pride that I have the opportunity to be apart of this brotherhood. Monday we start Day 1 and we finish inprocessing tomorrow. I am going to keep updating this thread as the weeks pass through Airborne, Pre-RASP, and RASP. I am ready to take the first steps to becoming a part of the 75th Ranger Regiment.

Attention to detail. Beat your face. By now you should know better.

Soon enough you'll know the difference between smart Rangers and strong Rangers.

Why do you now have 04 different sitrep threads? Do you see any of these other Dep's with more than 01? Do push-ups.

Why have you still not addressed Ranger Jims question to you posted in March? Flutter kicks.

Why does your attention to detail still suck? Keep pushing. You know what that means by now.

Per one my last posts (in your original sitrep thread) to you while you were making excuses for yourself and getting down mentally, you've now seen firsthand the quitters making excuses for themselves, don't be that guy.

Fix your shit.

Roger that, Ranger Cams. Week one is in the books, so many PLFs and 34 ft Tower jumps. DEPS and future soldiers you literally double time everywhere in uniform so prepare accordingly. We just started Tower week today. No 250 foot tower as per our commander. Our main focus this week is mass exits, swing landing trainer, parachute malfunctions and more PLFs.

Tower week should be a thing of the past, and you should be ready to jump from the big iron bird. Let us know how it is. Never, never quit!

Hello Rangers and everyone else reading. Ranger Jim tower week is definitely in the past and so is jump week.
I completed my 5th jump and earned my jump wings today. Jumping from a plane was the most amazing experience I have had since joining the army. There really is nothing like it. DEPS keep your feet and knees together and youll be fine. Graduation is Friday and we go to Pre-RASP on tuesday.

Strengthen your mind now. You'll need it. When you see others start to quit, take strength from that, keep it and let them fall out while you drive forward.

Don't be a pussy and don't quit, you've come this far, may as well stick around til the end 'eh.

Roger Ranger Jim.
Week 1 is in the books, Ive been able to pass all the events and have yet to receive a negative counseling statement. Im feeling good about this, cole range is next week. I met up with ivory charlie, turns out we were good buds before finding out about eachother on here. Weve lost about a quarter of the class this week.
