He wasn't a Ranger but he was an American hero and warrior in every sense of the word. I first heard a bit of his story while in SERE and I was just blown away. It's a real loss for America but I have no doubt GRITS will meet him at the gates. RIP sir.

Based on what I read and watched on film of him, 'hero' doesn't adequately describe him. That man was hard as woodpecker lips and strived to be a great American every day. RIP indeed.
