I signed up here after my college class reunion where a discussion came up on CSM Morrell. I found this site after researching his name.

I graduated Winter Ranger Class 4-77 and served for 6 years afterwards in Armor units.

My significant other is a Reservist and is an Iraq War vet

A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve --
is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.'
