It will almost be worth another week of getting body slammed in the sawdust pits for the 250' tower.
I'd pay to ride that one again.

Keep your feet together and your knees bent. How many times have you heard that? I'll bet that's the problem. Fight that instinctive impulse the spread your feet and always keep your knees bent. Keep your legs & feet together and it's almost impossible to do a bad PLF. Work hard, don't quit.

Me too.

I also did the parachute jump in Coney Island and that I had to pay for too. Stick it out, the best is making the jumps higher than the tower.

The swing landing trainer kicked my ass.

Why?

Because like a good soldier, I tried to do EXACTLY what the black hats told me to do.

Feet and knee's together, toes pointed to the earth, once you feel your feet contact the earth push your knee into the other, make contact with your feet, calf, thigh, buttock, push up muscle etc....

NO WAY!

A Marine Corp Staff Sergeant in my stick came up to me after one of the many no-go's and said:

"You are trying too damn hard. Just keep your feet and knee's together and lay it down on that side when you hit, and roll it over."

Me: "That's it?"

"That's it?"

I never got another no-go.

It doesn't seem that way - it is that way. :D

Good job, BWalk. Stay focused and use this time to PT like there's no tomorrow.

I love the irony of getting yourself through a jump only to become the sand pit for the next jumper. :P

Don't lose focus during the wait for SOPC.
