Media Ignores Navy SEALs for Tiger Woods

The Mainstream Media can’t get enough of Tiger Woods’ marital woes, the fallout from Adam Lambert’s sexually suggestive act at the American Music Awards and those publicity hungry White House party crashers.

Those same outlets can’t be bothered to tell the story of charges filed against three Navy SEALs who captured the supposed mastermind behind the slaughter of four Blackwater security guards in Fallujah five years ago.

The SEALs in question who captured Ahmed Hashim Abed -- Matthew McCabe, Petty Officer Jonathan Keefe and Petty Officer Julio Huertas -- are accused of bloodying his lip after apprehending him.

I have a friend who works for a major newspaper and I was complaining about the coverage like this. According to him, they go by web site hits to determine what to cover. If Tiger Woods gets 10,000 hits and the Navy SEALs only 5,000 then Tiger gets the bulk of the attention. The media is a business and they run it for a profit and unfortunately most viewers and readers seem to be more infatuated with stupid shit like this then they are about the important stories. I could care less about Tiger Woods and anything about him,but if they did cover the Navy SEALs the story would probably be inaccurate.

I have a question about the trial of Ahmed Hashim Abed. Is it true that he might be tried in a Federal Court? If so, why is he not being tried in a Military Court, and what would be the ramifications if he was to be tried in a Federal Court?
