They have been doing the 1st class upgrade for a while. I like the idea, but I have seen it be sort of abused. I saw a kid in the airport changing into his uniform in the latrine. When I questioned him as to why he was changing into uniform he stated that it was in order to get the free upgrade.

Be happy I cannot fit into my old uniform, otherwise, I'd be flying First Class!
