Introduction
Hello, I am 22 years of age. I will receive my B.A. in History from St. Mary's College of California this January. I am currently taking the final course necessary to complete my degree, and I just applied to BestBuy. Ideally by this summer I will enlist 11x/opt 40 and serve in the 75th. Right now my primary focus is getting in physical shape conducive to my ultimate goal of becoming a Ranger, and preparing myself mentally as well. I want to get as close to a soldier's mentality as I possibly can now as a civilian. I'm not necessarily a PT stud, but I pride myself on mental fortitude and a repulsion to the idea of quitting. That being said, I understand there is a pecking order and at this point I am less than nothing, I haven't earned a say in anything relating to the military. I am here mostly as a silent observer at this point. I recognize the wealth of information on ArmyRanger.com and wish to absorb what I can. As a sign of respect to the members of this site and a signal of my commitment to take the initiative whenever possible, I will keep my stupid questions to a minimum.
Lastly, but more importantly, I want to say thank you to the Rangers, Veterans, Soldiers, DEP'ers, and Family members of servicemen and women on this site, and everywhere for that matter.
Sincerely,
-Sam

Nice intro. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders. Welcome aboard, and thanks for showing an interest in serving our country.

Two more mistakes:
Task 1- The most important rule for DEPs is to READ and absorb the knowledge archived on this forum. All your questions have already been answered. Don't post anything unless-
1) a Ranger has asked you to do so [/b]
My last post was unnecessary and a waste of bandwidth.
Task 4- Administer an Army APFT and post the results in your intro.
I haven't done this yet.
100 pushups coming.
I have a feeling that I'm wrong again.
So I guess I'll do 150 just in case.
