PL Introduction

Post by awstenberg »

Greetings, all. Just graduated Ranger School last July (2007) after IOBC and the usual Infantry Officer courses. 8 March 2008 is my two year mark in the Army, but I've been around the block a few times. Turned 37 in RS. Had two careers before joining the military (politics, financial services). Originally from Minneapolis, MN. Spend three years in DC. Have a wife and four kids. We all just moved to Fort Lewis last fall. Getting my line time with Third Platoon, B Co, 2-3 Inf Regt. Enjoyed reading forums like this when I was trying to get into the Army and hope to contribute now that I've made it this far. Still not done, though. Heading off to RSLC this weekend. So much to do, so little time.

Welcome, young Warrior Ranger. I salute you for following your dreams, even as those dreams changed & surely will continue to evolve. There will always be much more to accomplish and the time flies ever faster in your journey.
