I am currently serving with a Unit in the Minnesota National Guard with a 11B MOS. I served in Iraq where my unit was attached to 3ID as a part of the 4th BCT in the wonderful area of south eastern Baghdad from early 2005 to early 2006. (Anybody ever visit the oil refinery?)
Upon returning to the states I found that life seems a too relaxing. The only place I have found real satisfaction with myself and my work has been as an Infantryman in the United States Army. After quite a bit of trying to talk myself out of this crazy idea to go RA I've decided to actually do it. I figure if I'm going to do something why not surround myself with the best. So I've started to research on how to become part of the 75th., which brings me here.
After reading many posts on here it seems like my biggest battle will be to actually get the chance to RIP.....but I'll save that for a more relevant section of the site.
Thanks.

,
Welcome and good luck in your quest. Remember that your strength and ability will be the same whether you are in the 75th or any other unit. Stay focused and drive on, if during your change from NG to RA you land a unit other than that which you desire the main issue will be that you lead with pride, honor and devotion to duty.
