I sent a few sitreps to Ranger Matador275 in the mail, but aparently they were lost somewhere along the way.

OSUT has been an interesting experience. I had a high fever and cough for about two weeks culminating in a 4 night visit to the infirmary with a 103 degree temperature. They said it was an upper respiratory infection. I am doubling my efforts in the evenings now to try and reverse some of the damage this has done to my PT.

I am currently assigned to Aco 1-19 Infantry here on Sand Hill. We've completed our M16 qualification last week. I scored Sharpshooter. Not as good as I had hoped, but much better than most of the company.

Ranger Matador275 has my address now. So hopefully I can get this mail thing sorted out.

I'm Damn proud of you for hanging in there while you've been sick. I had the same upper resp. problem in basic, until the gas chamber cleaned me all out! :D
