There's quite a few sources to pick from.
First, a little context to get what net neutrality is about
Second, the site that centralizes the effort against the telecoms. SavetheInternet
And third, a guy who used to be a high up exec with AT&T, with a shit ton of sources to pull from, and who's against the telecoms attempts to abolish Net Neutrality. Isen.com

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Net_neutrality
Net neutrality is the concept that the internet is a free forum. If someone is an ISP or a backbone provider, they treat all traffic equally.
There's a bill in Congress that would give providers the ability to treat traffic from different providers differently.
In other words:
ISP A wants to send shit to ISP C
They send it to ISP B who sends it on to ISP C
No big deal under net neutrality.
If the bill goes through, instead of going through without any issues, ISP B might demand that A pay a fee. If they don't pay up, B can delay the traffic, possibly to the point where your requests would time out.
It opens the doors to all kinds of corporate political backstabbing and fucking with the internet. If it goes through and your ISP isn't friendly with the local backbone, you might suddenly find certain sites completely unreachable and have shitty connections to others.
There is no up side to breaking net neutrality. All it would allow is for those who control the backbones and ISPs to make more money from each other. There's probably a handful of companies that would come out ahead, most would lose cash, pass the cost on to us and none of the users would see any positive side to it.

It's why I signed the petition and contacted my senator via that. It's a very stupid plan. Especially since the companies have already said they intent to discriminate.
Do these higher up peoples ever THINK before they speak?

I couldn’t see it working any way because there too many people that would defy it by figuring out ways to get around it. And that knowledge how to get past it would spread around the internet. Net Neutrality won’t be taken down the corporations tried to stop peer to peer file sharing but piracy hasn’t stopped.Thats just my opinion.
