What is your favorite beer?

Post by CAL »

Ok, here are the rules:

There are 3 categories:

Cat I - "Normal" beer - what is normally in your refrigerator?

Cat II - "Special occasion" beer - what you would buy when you go to a restaurant or buy when going to a BYOB party.

Cat III - "Champagne" beer - you don't drink it that often, but it's your absolute favorite.

More than one entry per category is permissible.

That's OK, I'm a fuckface almost all the time, just ask my wife.

Cat I - When it's hot out: Peroni, Kronenbourg, Sierra Nevada, Sweetwater 420, Sweetwater IPA
When it's cold out: Guinness, Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout
I could go on for days.

Cat II - see Cat I

Cat III - Again, see Cat I

Life is short, you should always drink good beer!

Cat 1...Newcastle Brown Ale

Cat 2...from India...forget the name

Cat 3...Guinness or Smithwicks, Killkenny..but it must be on tap and pulled by a barman that knows his craft well, so that rules out getting them here in the States :x .

with that said there are a shit load of great English Ales that I can't find here in the States...i.e. Bishop's Finger, Spitfire, so many of em' that I forget all the names.
