Introduction

Post by samcweaver »

Hello Rangers, My name is Sam and I'm 19 years old. I am currently enrolled at University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a cadet in the Army ROTC program. I enlisted about 3 weeks ago. My MOS is 37F (Psychological Operations) and I ship out 20060705. After my training of AIT, I have the opportunity to go to Airborne school. I'm very excited and ready to give it my all.

I'm considering it, Ranger Bill :). First, I have to get through Basic Training and Airborne School. I'm taking baby steps. I don't want to rush myself and not have my mind straight. I had an earlier post stating whether I could attend Ranger School as reservists. Is that possible?

Welcome.

Sam, I want you to answer a question for me!

Does UNC at Charlotte ROTC have Airborne Rangers?

Come on......... you can be honest about it!

So, say a Cadet goes to Jump School and competes in the Ranger Challenge, That doesn't make him a UNC ROTC Airborne Ranger?

Roger Ranger AbnRgr289. I was just curious can a soldier (not a cadet) from the Army Reserve attend Ranger School?
