Introduction

Post by FikarAlan »

I am 18 Years of age I just enlisted 11x. I'm in the DEP and I leave 11 May 2006. I hopefully will be 11b after basic, when I go through AIT and Airborne. I was unable to get option 40 in my contract so I will be volunteering during Airborne School. I was hoping for some advice on how to volunteer during Airborne. I have read a lot on the Rangers but nothing could replace firsthand knowledge. I would also like to know what my chances are of making it in with only a GED. I got a 95 on my ASVAB with my line score above 130. I was hoping that it would get my GED waived but I dont know, everthing I have read said I need my Diploma or my GED with 15 colledge credits, but I will stop at nothing to become a Ranger. Any input would be helpful. Thank you for your time and expertise. Future Ranger.***NAME DELETED BY ADMIN***

I recommend you make extensive use of the search button, right next to the FAQ button.

Welcome.

As said, the search button would be a good idea.

I gotta tell you...when young people come in here they act like this is an information bureau where we sit around and wait for the same damned questions every damned time. All without reading the FAQ's, searching...
blows my fucking mind.
Oh yea, Welcome Akbar.....don't POST. READ, SEACH, REREAD, RESEARCH.

I'm not the way I am because I was a Ranger - I was a Ranger because of the way I am.

Welcome.
Fair intro
Pay attention to the DEP's that will be contacting you with information, use the search and FAQ buttons and read all sticky's. Do not PM anyone unless asked to do so. If you do all of these things we will allow you to live longer than you deserve!

Your answers are here and you don't even have to ask. Just search. Rangers square themselves away. Square yourself away.
