Hi, my name is Dane, I'm a 19 year old high school graduate. I enlisted about 3 weeks ago and have been lurking ever since. I have an 11x option 40 contract and am supposed ship out March 16,2006. Unfortunately I made a very stupid mistake on the way home from my going away party and it doesn't look like I'll be able to ship out anymore.

Nope it wasn't a DWI, I was walking around old town and got nabbed for DIP and underage possession even though I didnt have any alchohol on me. I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me as it was completely my fault. I was curious if anyone had a similar experience. My lawyer thinks that judge will drop the charges in favor of me going into the military. Is there any chance of that happening?
