OK, so this is a little early and I will prolly make it back to the boards once or twice more before I leave but nothing is guaranteed.
I leave in 9 days and I can't wait to get down to Ft Benning. I just want to thank all the Rangers on this site for all the advice that they have given. I will be back to post updates and tell you when I make it into the Ranger Regiment.
Good luck to all the DEP's that still have some time before they leave. Just six months ago I signed into the DEP program and it's already time for me to leave. Have fun, stay out of trouble, learn the creed, and get in shape.
I'm out.

Best of luck to you DLP. If you stay focused and all goes well, after you get out you'll be like us "I was a Ranger" as opposed to "I was in the Army". In the time between, you've got to stay focused, ignore distractions that will lead you away from your path and give every task 110%. If you're sitting around with nothing to do, you should be double and triple checking your gear, or knocking out 200 flutterkicks before you go to bed. Don't let up on yourself.
Let us know how it goes.

Anyone can conquer a dream......anyone. But it ain't easy. If you truly want it, it's yours for the taking. That means that when your legs, back, shoulders, arms, and brain tell you that you can't go another step, you listen to your heart. If you want, with all your heart, to be a Ranger, then that is the "voice" that you need to listen to. You'll be amazed at how much farther your body can go when you make it go. Never quit. Don't let anyone or anything keep you from reaching your dream. Best of luck to you. Please keep in touch with us and let us know how you're doing.
