Cole Range Update

Post by Ryan655 »

Hello again just got a hold of a computer finally and am happy to say that I made it out of cole range alive. It was definitely probably the two most miserable days ive been through in a long time. It would have to be the most uncomfortable ive ever been but thankfully no one quit. I think we handled ourselves well and kept our spirits up. There were alot of times when it was actually kind of fun and we were able to let out some motivation. The skedco races and the first trip to the just cause pond were fun and it was a thrill yelling Airborne Ranger during the mind eraser at 2:00 in the morning. The picture in my head of all my buddies and I wearing the tan beret on graduation was dominant through out and I was able to keep my mind completely off of ever even thinking about quiting. Tomorrow is the written test and it would be a lie to say im not nervous. Ill be sure to post another update next week.

Post by fourthandonly »

i think all the piss in just cause pond warmed it up enough so that it was comfortable on friday when we were leaving... i actually didn't really mind because of the fact i knew we were about to change into DRY warm BDU's and get the fuck out of there that very morning. good times were had by all I am sure!
