My name is Ed, I am 18 years old, and I live in Edmonton, Canada. I completed one term of university in Honors Physics, but university is not for me. I want to be soldier and serve for my country. I am finished my application for Infantry in the Reg. forces, and I am just waiting for the call to tell me when I am leaving for training. I hope to eventually get into the JTF2, and I know I have no idea how hard it will be.
I have the utmost respect for anyone in SOF, and I want to use my time here learning as much as possible about the Rangers. I do not personally know of the sacrifices and hardships endured by soldiers, American or Canadian, but I wish to use my experiences here to improve my understanding.
So, in conclusion, thank you for this opportunity and I hope I will not offend anyone during my visits.
