newbie intro time

Post by 3/75 LandWarrior »

heres my intro,

i entered the army in AUG98 got to 3rd bat in Jan99 i was in C co. 3rd plt
i will start off by saying that i am still a tabless bitch...but at least im not a lame ass poser pretending to have done things i havent. i have attended ranger school twice
RGR school
class 04-00 (med-drop, emergency appendectomy) I know....shitbag!
class 10-00 (med-drop, heatstroke)
I Know.....shitbag

after that i blew out my shoulder and messed up my back(no ruck humping for 12 months) in training before i had a chance to go back and get my tab. i was not RFS (was actually given the choice of staying and working the training room untill i ETS) but i figured i'd try to do somthing usefull beside preparing jump manifests for 18 months

i went onto work the armys Land warrior- Objective force warrior programs in TSM-S at infantry hall to help computer engineers understand what Rangers do, and what their techknology would have to stand up to. also worked in the SEP programs to help get some good gear out fast to all my ranger buddies back in bat.
MAY01-DEC02
TSM-Soldier working on Land warrior, OFW, SEP, prototype weapons in PEO-soldier.

i did what i could while i was there and got out in DEC02 to start getting my degree and thats where i am at now.
i still keep in touch with many of my ranger buddies but hope to link up with some that ive lost touch with over the years.
i miss my time in the Regiment and do regret things i did not accomplish or finish and some may think i'm a shitbag for not finishing them, but hell i know the truth and My fellow Rangers that i served with Know better too.

Welcome. You did nothing bad in my book. Having spent time in Ranger Batt makes you a Ranger although tabless but still a Ranger.

Enjoy the site. :wink: I hope you link up with old buddies.
