Film's called WANTED
Looks good... but, cant SOMEONE make a more realistic film please??? I mean, come on. You can still have all the blow em up action shit you like... but, at least give the actors / acresses some training on how to hold a gun, the physics behind it, and what they really can and cant do?

Then I guess it wouldn't be a "blockbuster" or over the top Hollywood.

Angelina Jolie? Get real. She doesn't have enough strength to even HOLD a 1911... let alone fire one quickly and accurately... did you see how much finger she had in the trigger well?

I really want to like movies like this... but, I find myself dissecting them more and more. If I could just take them for what they are, and enjoy them....

Anyone else have my problem?
Well, no. I see Angelina Jolie I'm not really thinking about her weapons training. It usually has something to do with her bent over the closest object in the room and a handful of hair.

On another note, I know it's not a movie but does anyone else watch Two and a Half Men? I just started watching it about a month ago and it is funny as hell.

I was almost disappointed. The previews, clips and marketing were awesome. The movie was good, but far from being Denzel Washington's best performance - and he's about my favorite actor.

T,

I've got this same problem, every time I go and watch a movie with him in it I'm expecting a "Training Day" type of experience. And while he's never let me down as far as his acting chops are concerned, I think that lately the quality of scripts, production, and intent of movies isn't what it was a few years back. He's pretty much one of my top three after what he did down at Ft. Sam Houston not that long ago.

Beowulf

I think I've seen 3 or 4 Beowulf movies and this one is closer to the epic poem than any of the others. I was unaware that this was an animated movie, but even so, it was pretty good. It would have been better if it wasn't animated.

***********************************************************

I also watched Next w/ Nick Cage on PayPerView the other day. His hair was terrible but the movie was pretty good...except the very end. The end of the movie sucked balls.

Did anyone see No Country for Old Men yet? It was pre-released a week or so ago in select areas; not in my area.

I saw "Bee Movie" with my 7 year old over the weekend.

He enjoyed it, so that's what matters.

It was strangely lacking in action like most of these assembly line computer animated flicks.

So, we went home and watched our favorite film before hockey practice-

Slap Shot

With me quick on the pause and stop button. :D
