I attended the course the end of last year (graduated second week of December I believe. I can try to answer any specific questions you may have. Hopefully someone else will chime in that has been more recently, as the instructors said they were preparing to go through a large POI change the first quarter of this year.

Xian,
First, you can just call me Kildagin at this point, think you've earned it.
I will list a few of the general things to help you, if you have anything more specific, just ask. Again, this information is over six months old, and the course may have been drastically changed.
PT wise, if you can pass the RPFT, you will meet the RSLC standard as well. Movements didn't tend to be as long as Ranger school movements, but you will have more weight. Coming right out of school, rucking should be a non-issue.
Find someone that can teach you the correct way to study for the vehicle Identification test. I simply memorized the top fifty that they have posted on the D co website, and it helped with nomenclature, but its not enough, you need to know that vehicle from any angle.
In addition, be prepared to buckle down and study hard. When I went through, LTs like you who were still living on benning would go back to their rooms, and watch tv or do something else. You need to study for AFVID for three solid evenings, or you will not pass.
Land Navigation: Either be good at it, or be fast so you have time to correct mistakes. Legs are long, and navigation mistakes mean you will have to cover a lot of ground to get where you are supposed to be. If you aren't a land nav guru, PM me and I will give you a few hints that can help with this particular type of course.
These things come to mind as trouble spots that other students had. There is nothing in the course designed to catch you off guard, so if you show up, pay attention and study, the course isn't hard.
Anyone who has been more recent feel free to add to this or correct. Beyond that, let me know if you have questions.

I'll be starting IBOLC in a few weeks here at Benning and it's great to read your posts and follow you from IBOLC to your platoon.

Congratualtions on getting a platoon. Years from now you will look back and realize it is the best job you ever had and if you do it right you will have a bond with men that will last a lifetime.
