Expired Inspection Sticker (NY)

This is not a joke. I am searching for any possible responses from LEO's irregardless where you are. Say I am in your area. My NY Registration is good. My NY Inspection Sticker has expired. You walk past my vehicle and notice this condition.

You know I was just thinking that if I saw a car from NY in these parts I would pull the occupants and slap 'em around a little bit before I had 'em run out of town.

I didn't know that they even had cars in NY...I thought they only had caws. I may be wrong, SF, but I don't believe an officer from a state other than NY can enforce NY traffic laws (which the expired sticker would fall under). But, I'm no longer a real police officer....I just play one on TV.

NY - It's the home of PACE B-B-Q sauce, renowned all over, go figure. Get along little doggie.

If you are from out of state and get pulled over in Nevada, they ask you for your ID, Registration and Casino players card. God help you if you don't have one.

I got a lot of tickets in NY for having an expired inspection sticker. I think it was $10 or $15 a pop. My car was pretty much a POS and wasn't worth the cost to get it up to standards. There are "ways" of getting that sticker through less than orthadox means though...

Took that car up and down the east coast a few times, as far down as GA. Even with getting pulled over a few times, never any mention of the expired inspection from non-NY LEO's.

What the hell are inspection stickers? The beauties of Wyoming. Ozone, what fucking ozone.
Your sticker wouldn't mean shit to us here but I don't know about any other states that require emission standards.

As far as I know, emissions aren't part of the inspection in Texas (that must be a Clifornia thing). They just want to insure that all vehicles on the road have brakes that work, lights that work, seatbelts, etc. For us, it's more of a safety concern than an ozone concern.

EP,
Emissions are required for inspection in certain parts of TX...

Instead of $12.50, it's ~$40 a pop here in the DFW area.
